About Me

Clinical Psychologist - CBT therapist - Schema informed - Systemic therapist - Neurodiversity affirming

I have practiced as a Clinical Psychologist for nearly 20 years. My manner is open, kind & approachable. The majority of my career has been spent working in psychological services in the NHS, mainly within South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. In recent years, I have also worked in private practice, both face-to-face and online.

I work with adults who experience a wide-range of psychological need. I view each person as an expert on their own lives. I will draw upon your strengths & values, working towards specific goals we identify together. I firmly believe “the person is not the problem, the problem is the problem” - therefore my role is to collaborate with you to unpack the problem, and work together towards thriving, rather than surviving. I am flexible in my approach, in order to adjust the psychological support I offer to meet your unique needs.

I specialise in working alongside clients who experience mental health needs in the context of Neurodiversity (e.g. ASC & Adult ADHD), and am neuroaffirmative in my approach. I have worked as part of multi-professional Autism Diagnostic teams within the NHS, and am working towards offering Autism Diagnostic Assessments in my private practice.

I practice using a schema-informed Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach. This means that although we will primarily focus on the current, “here-and-now” circumstances that have brought you to seek psychological support, I am also skilled at facilitating exploration of how unmet emotional needs in the past may be influencing current difficulties, should this be useful.

I live in London with my partner & kids, and enjoy music, travel and yoga in my spare time.
